I am honoured to serve as the 2nd elected President of the Active Minds Club since our inception in 2007 and I am delighted to welcome you to the Active Minds Club 2.0
Whether you are a prospective member wondering what we’re all about, a visitor, a development enthusiast, a current Yola Model School community member, an alum, or anyone else. We thank you for your interest!
Our Story
Whether in 2007, or in 2023, Active Minds remain the same; Active!
At active minds club we are the intersection between creativity and logic. We are deeply committed to improving our learning experiences inside and outside of the classrooms. Everything we do outside of the classroom is designed to help us solve problems, create opportunities and harness our hidden talents. We study so hard at Yola Model Secondary school right?! It just make sense for us to put it all into practice as creatively as possible.
Thus, I would like to invite you to our upcoming Talent show. The first digital talent show of its kind here in northeast Nigeria. In April 2023, we will meet as a club and as a school to preview everything each club has been working on for the term and select a winner. There will be cash prizes, award for merit and excellences, food, music and games. Excited right? Excellent! Cameras light, action.
